The Candle of Peace
When Jesus was born of this earth, the angels proclaimed, “Peace on Earth”! The Bible is full of verses that tells us how to find peace through the love of Jesus Christ. It is through serving him, that peace will be in our lives. This peace goes beyond all worldly understanding because it is only understood by people that have chosen to serve Christ.

People misunderstand and think that this peace means that life as a Christian will be easy. The candle of peace does not represent an easy life. It represents the peace that allowing Jesus to have dominion over life’s problems will give. Living a life set apart from the world will never be easy and it is the strength of Jesus that will bring the peace. This peace is explained in Phillipians 4:7, “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”.
